Vedansh is offered free of charge for personal study and devotional practice. By installing or using the app, you accept the terms below. They mirror the disclaimer shown inside the app itself.

The texts

The scriptures presented in Vedansh are drawn from public-domain spiritual classics of the Bharatiya tradition. Translations and explanatory notes are offered for educational and devotional purposes only and reflect the editor's best effort; they may contain errors, or interpretive choices that differ from other respected commentaries.

Vedansh claims no scholarly or sectarian authority. For any definitive reading, please consult qualified teachers and the original Sanskrit, Awadhi or Vraj-Bhasha sources.

Panchang and muhurat timings

Panchang values, muhurat windows and sunrise and sunset times are computed by an astronomy engine and are provided for reference. They may differ from your local almanac or family tradition, which use different reckonings and rounding. Use them as a guide, not as a ruling — for consequential decisions, consult your family priest or astrologer.

Fair use and rights

All material is presented under a fair-use, non-commercial framework for personal study and devotion. If you believe content has been used incorrectly, or that your rights have been affected, please write to vedansh.app.support@gmail.com so it can be reviewed and corrected promptly.

You may read, bookmark and share individual verses and verse cards for personal, non-commercial devotional use. Please do not redistribute the app's content as a bulk dataset or a competing compilation.

Provided as-is

The content and the app are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Vedansh, its maintainers and its contributors accept no liability for any decisions, actions or interpretations arising from the use of this material.

Your device and your data

The app stores your practice on your device. It is your responsibility to keep your device backed up; uninstalling the app removes your bookmarks, progress, routines and counts, and they cannot be recovered by us, because we never held them. See the Privacy Policy.

Availability and changes

Vedansh is developed independently and offered without a service commitment. Features may change, and content may be corrected, expanded or reorganised between releases. If these terms change, this page is updated and the date above revised.
